consistent pleaser. Give it some air and don't drink too cold. Bouquet and palate develop as the wines warmes after leaving the fridge.

Steadily performing. A pointe now so enjoy! Update: I can acknowledge the room temperature remarks, blossoms at a bit higher temperature.

A very good but not excellent Chablis, drinks more like a good village level wine than a 1er cru. A little hot, but some good medium-oaked chardonnay character, not a lot of minerality. I suspect this will not improve much and should probably be consumed over the next year, but I will hold my remaining bottle for a few years as an experiment to see what happens.

French white wine from Chablis: Chardonnay. 13 % alcohol. Aged for 12 months on fine lees in vats and barrels. Light golden/grayish color. Delicate and fresh aromas of brioche, lemon, apricot, ripe pears, white flowers and minerals. Powerful flavors of lemon, apricot, white flowers, yogurt and minerals. Dry. Full body. Medium- acidity. Good balance. Barely okay structure. Some complexity. Powerful. Long finish with lemon and yogurt. A powerful Chablis with a some complexity. On the negative side the intensity and …

clean nose with some blossom or fresh meadows, hay, yellow fruits and a bit of smoke. Good acidic cut on opening, again those yellow fruits with a minty hint, even a bit anis like. Ripe mellow lemon and a velvet coating of minerals towards the finish. Overall a very good wine with for me an interesting complexity.

drinking well, and punching beyond it's price point. I wish these wines were easier to find.

This final bottle was nearly as good as the previous. A properly labeled 1er Cru. Great QPR.

Much more enjoyable than previous bottles. Its still full with peach liquier prominent but the acidic tension of good Chablis is right there as well. Excellent wine and great QPR.

Rather light and fresh for a chardonnay.

Opened not decanted and served chilled. I pulled this from the fridge thinking this was an every day drinker Chablis and realized on the 2nd glass that it was a 1er Cru. Doh! At least my thoughts on the wine weren’t influenced by the designation. This needs about a half hour of air to open up as it gets richer, rounder, fuller and earthier with time. I will admit that my first thoughts were that it was nothing special, somewhat …

Lovely clean white with some exotic notes and richer mouthfeel for a Chablis

A year and a half has diminished the plumpness seen in the last bottle, leaving this more immediately identifiable as Chablis. Should be a good mid-term wine.

Slightly better than last tasting. Delicate saline notes, a hint of lemon verbena. Pretty wine.

Crisp, delicate. A bit short at this point. Will reserve judgment.

My first 2015 Chablis: My impression is that this is a bit rounder, plumper and less acidic than the 2014 (In fairness, I've not had the same bottling, but this producer's Montmains last year) Initially, we sort of had to focus to see it as Chablis. There is acid there, and it's by no means flabby, but it doesn't seem as precise as last year's.

This was another nice bottle. We opened a '15 Fevre Champs Royaux and all like this Vaillons more.

I like this. Some might call it light but I'd call this delicate. There are nice melon, citrus, and oyster shell aromas and flavors. It finishes with sweet fruit.
