I always like Pattes Loup but this is really delivering for the 25 € I bought it at. The Bouquet mixes some stone fruit with a touch of green apple and slight nuttiness. On the palate this medium bodied wine has good freshness and a good length. A well made, low intervention wine, which should be a role model, for people who try too hard to surf on the natural side.

Breiflabb, spisskål, spinat, blåskjellsaus med safran. Strålende match. Grønt eple, sitrus. Mineralsk, høy syre og god konsentrasjon.

Intense lemon curd and golden fruit notes. Nice firm acidity on the palate but does broaden out and show some volume. Lengthy mineral driven finish. Quite strong.

Not bad for this wine maker, first time trying and thought it was a well make chablis. Pronounced nose intensity with notes of peach, pineapple, flora. High acidity. Medium+ finish.

Fresh, bright, mineral-driven, and lively. While it’s not particularly complex, it doesn’t aim to be. A straightforward, vibrant profile with classic Chablis characteristics. There are hints of a low-intervention approach, evident in subtle notes of fleshy lemon rind and wildflowers, yet overall, it remains clean and straightforward. Tasty on a warm summer day.

Reims Weekend; 5/23/2025-5/24/2025 (Reims, France) : [Restaurant purchase] At Le Wine Bar by Le Vintage, Reims france. No detailed notes. Tasted blind. Correctly called French Chardonnay from a warm vintage (2018 or 2022), but did not land on Chablis. Definitely a low intervention feeling to it, but really well made.

Random wines tried during service (Oinoscent) : The wine follows its own path in this Chablis line-up, a "low intervention" profile, nutty, almond, ripeness, stone fruit, apricot and peach notes. Palate shows vibrant, profile, lime, grapefruit and quince, med to full body, high acidity, mineral, very concentrated, compact, dense core, a bit warm (12,5%), long finish Always nice

Honeysuckle, lemon rind, sunflower, and something a bit sweet on the nose. Palate is high acid but very well balanced with lemon salinity, and minerality.

Same as my note in 2023 and Burgundy A's last note.

Similar notes as Burgundy Al in 2021 tho seems to be declining a bit. Neither the flintiness nor the acidity I like in Chablis.

Both ripe and lean apple with very classically bright Chablis textures. Still nicely fresh, good through 2025 or so.

Herb and green notes. Still clean on the palate.

Intriguing combination of ripe and green aromas with good weight, especially for its level. Plenty of apple with some tropical hints in the middle, then more classically Chablis on finish. Very good Villages.

Mature hue, autumn,. Palate with super vivacity and baked apples and nice bitterness dominated by long minerality. A style close to some of the best Jura chardonnays. I wouldn't say that it is a fine wine (that higher cuvées might be) but it is full of surprisong flavors and personnality. Not for oyster but a chicken with creamy curry sauce.

Rich style for chablis with apricot, gingerbread and toasted walnut aromas. Slightly less opulent flavors, but still rich, with stone and ripe orchard fruit. Well supported with acidity and minerality. Very good value wine.

Medium lemon in color. Quite expressive on the nose, even when first poured and too cold, showing vibrant fruit aromas of McIntosh apple, nectarine, and golden plum, as well as a polleny floral character and some spice. Very good on the palate, but hard to pin down. It’s fresh and bright, with prominent green-apple acidity and great focus, but it also has a little more body than you would expect from that description, plus a bit of honeyed richness. There’s …

PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs -translucent light gold -slightly tropical sweet citrus -med+ acidity peeks in late on med weight sappy but relatively simple mid-palate with lemon and quinine element but no obvious tropical, respectable finish -solid for Chablis village

this is always good. very good chardonnay, a bit richer and creamier body than previous vintages I have tasted, but crisp and fresh on the back-end.

My first Pattes Loup wine. Ripe, slightly fat apple with some tropical fruit hints. Starts lush, acidity and minerality come through middle to finish, but not necessarily the type of steely, oystershell minerality I expect from Chablis. Moderate length. Very good Chardonnay, particularly for Villages level, but the wine's typicity didn't come across clearly today.

Maybe the best $34 Chablis I've had. At once rich and textured, this had great depth, bounded by minerality that stretched for days. Maybe a touch of oak, which in my opinion helped show contrast to the citrus and pineapple notes. Excellent all around.

Nice wine that will be even better in 2015. Light straw colour. The nose is quite rich, a bit of exotic fruits. The palate is more finessed with minerals, citrus and zesty acidity. Good for food pairing due to the lively acidity.

Another beautiful bottle of this fantastic Chablis. So much cut, acidity and clean fruit. Can't do much better than this for an AOC Chablis at the price point.

Tasted right after opening. Expressiv nose of hay, honeysuckle, clementin juice, impression of saltiness. Mouth surprising of vivacity, chawlky, mineral, spicy on white pepper, well structured with seeds tannins. Long after taste. I do prefer this 2011 rather the 2010 witch was more rounded (Chassagne like), to far from a Chablis that you expect. This one is it . Excellent. Keep it two more years.

24h in the fridge does almost the same as 6-12 months in the cellar. Heavenly chardonnay!

Had this last night with my better half, and have to admit that I'm not as enthused about this wine as most of the previous posters/raters. Certainly okay, and this may be my first Chablis from 2011, so perhaps I just haven't compared it to what other producers were able to put in the bottle in this vintage, but I found this more drinkable than truly exciting.
