Commanderie de Bordeaux: Winter Tasting- St. Estephe (Bucheron, Mpls) : Ultra pale green color. Drank a glass over an hour. Brine, green fruits, lemon-lime, and crustacean minerality and earthiness on the nose. The palate is nice too, very even and balanced, good acidity, lemon, lime zest, brisk, briny, melon and spearmint. Very good, 92+ pts.

Yes, this some nice SB/Semillon, fresh, tight, lemony with an orange rind finish, but the price is insane. As much as I am used to being ripped off by the wine industry, 150€ is more than cheeky. Avoid.

From glass. Complex nose: waxy fruit and citrus and unmistakable butter, followed by clean tropicals as the glass came to temperature. Lovely. Palate: tight and elegant white Bordeaux, with quite a bit of length. Has plenty of what might be called "mineral" but more impressive than those were the lovely, subtle oils (surprising that this is 85sb to 15 sem). Terrific.

With a focus on its flowers, green apple and yellow citrus, this is already drinking at close to peak, offering lift, energy and a nice blend of lemon and grapefruit from start to finish. Drink from 2024-2028.

(91-93 vvPunkte) 85% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Sémillon. Grüngelb. Expressive Nase, sehr Sauvignon Blanc, jedoch nicht von der kitschigen Sorte, sondern von einer Klarheit und Reinheit, wie sie nur gute Terroirs widergeben können, floral, mit Zitrusfrüchten, Limetten, weissem Pfirsich. Im Gaumen schlank und frisch, sehr sauber, glasklare Frucht, keinerlei Üppigkeit, viel Eleganz, trotz des moderaten Alkoholgehalts zeigt der Wein einiges an Druck und im Abgang eine sehr gute Länge, endet wiederum auf Limettenaromen. Bright, crisp, fresh and juicy, the wine leans to its yellow citrus side with a nice bite of pomelo and lemon curd in the light, but vibrant finish. This is fully ready to go. Drink from 2023-2027. 91-91

En-Primeur campaign for the 2021 vintage; 4/25/2022-4/29/2022 (Bordeaux) : On the nose cream, passion fruit apple, sweet spice. Medium plus intensity acidity brings sharpness to the palate, quite green apple, a little woody like to the mid-palate. Hmm

Whole Lotta sulfurngoign on. Apricot peaches and some salt.
