Maison Roche de Bellene Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes

I wanted more from this…not particularly aromatic or subtle, as I like to see in a good bottle of Chambolles, but it wasn't a complete shambles (pardon the pun). It was $39 from Last Bottle, so a good value in context, but nothing really stood out about it, besides being a decent bottle of red Burgundy.

Good but not great chambolle. It was richer and denser than I like and expect chambolle, there was some Expressiveness on the nose but it didn’t wow Tannins we’re plentiful, grainy almost gravel like at the beginning.

Easy drinking burgundy. I think it could still develop more. I would hold till 2025 min

Salty and savory. Red fruit.
