(17-/20) Tasting 2014 from 3 different terroirs, same winemaker. This Bacigalupi comes from 667, Wente and Pommard clones in Russian River. Rich and opulent wine, lots of everything. Medium intense aromas of rose petal, raspberry, red cherry, blueberry, black pepper, liquorice, liquorice wood, gunpowder, vanilla, milk chocolate, coffee, wet leaves. Dry wine, high acidity, medium- tannins, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity, long finish. 14,2% ABV - La Rochelle tasting Peter Den Hartog

Tasting perfect now. No need to cellar any longer, but certainly may. Bright clear medium body. Balanced fruit acidity and integrated tannins. Some spices, perhaps cinnamon. Just Lovely.

Very bright, tart, strawberry notes. Cloudy in appearance. Acid and tartness dominate but the fruit is there. Nice but could use another couple of years to mellow.

Delicious medium body red. and some blue, fruit forward. Spices. Velvet mouthfeel. It was very good.
