Mac Forbes Syrah

Deep violet in the glass. Some bubblegummy notes on the nose accompanied by dark cherry, blackberry, unripe plum. Medium-bodied with grippy tannins, high acidity, medium (+) alcohol. Very nice balance with a long finish. Done proper. One of the best reds from Mac Forbes which is quite paradoxical for a winemaker that puts so much focus on Pinot Noir.
