Château De Carbonnières Bergerac

(Decanted for one hour) Brick red colour with a mature nose showing black currants, iron and blood and opens up with some barnyard in a nice and pleasant way. Silk smooth tannins on the mature palate still showing primary fruitful sweetness and iron with a lighter body on tje mid and finish.

(Decanted for half an hour) At first a bit muted and acidic, but with another half hour of airing it turned for the better showing a nice and smooth palate with silk smooth tannins and some coffee and some herbs on the lengthy finish, combined with the delicious nose with coffee, dark chocolate and violet this is showing very pleasant right now. Matched the pan-fried corn-fed chicken fillet perfectly tonight! (Best 1998-2023)

(Decanted for one hour) Deep red colour with a brick red hue and a mature nose showing black truffles, leather, cedar wood and some sweet black berries in a delicious way. Nice and smooth with fully evolved tannins and showing sweet fruitiness on the lengthy finish. Delicious right now and perfect with grilled fillet of lamb. (Best 1998-2023)

(Decanted for one hour) Brick red colour with a mature nose showing leather, red fruit and some burnt oak in a pleasant way. Nice with silk smooth tannins still showing some fresh fruit backed by a pleasant acidity. Still well balanced and good food companion with Wallenbergare this evening.
