Deep ruby hue with thick, droopy tears. Nose opens with rich black cherry and red currants which transitions into toasted oak notes of vanilla, pencil shavings and mocha. Full-bodied with plush tannins and a smooth mouthfeel. Vibrant notes of blackberry jam and coffee lead to a mildly sweet finish.

Purchased for $14. Dark ruby. Attractive nose of cedar, spice, dark brambly fruit. Overpowering sweetness on the palate. Over the top. Sweet, grapey fruit. Did I mention it was sweet???? Not for me. Withholding score
