Awesome. Still has time left in the bottle.

I love the idea of this blend and enjoyed the wine. Perhaps a bit less ripeness and alcohol would improve it, but Jeff made it as good as he could with the materials provided. Bravo for making this blend. The sum of the parts exceed the individual ones.

Syrah, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Deep ruby, with medium (+) viscosity and dark, thick legs. The nose is clean, with medium (+) to pronounced intensity. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry and black plum jam, sweet spice, a floral note, vanilla, chocolate and a lot of alcohol, bordering on turpentine. The nose is complex and developing. Great wine, have had it before and wrote down my notes, but put them on my phone, and poof!

Inky violet color with mixed black and red fruits (blackberry, red currant, fig) and cedarwood aromas. A bit hot on the nose upon opening, but blew off with a bit of time in the glass. On the palate, it's full-bodied with blackberry, red currant, and vanilla flavors. Med-long finish.

Nice purple color. Fruit explodes from he glass in cherry, and dark fruit. Some tar, and tobacco. Nice tannins show this wine can go another 18 months. Drinkable now

Very nice. The Petit Sirah adds a level of boldness, but it is all well-blended and easy to drink now. Some of the dark berry profile will likely open further in the next year or two.

Very drinkable bottle, finished well. Tastes of dark berries. Enjoyed the tastes of the different wines as they emerged over the course of the bottle.
