The Lakes Pinot Noir Single Vineyard Bendigo

Deep dark CO pinot red, huge nose of initially dusty baking spices, dried fruits, anise, dark berry... on the palate medium weight, big tannins too big for the acid... red fruit notes, the dried fruits, spices not really in unison... it feels as if the separate components are present just not in balance. Still, for me, an interesting wine.
