Doukénie Winery Merlot Dionysus Block No. 1

Wonderful wine, presents like a quality Saint Emilion. Nose leads with a line of minerality, sandalwood, Black Cherry, and a hint of cassis and licorice. Front palate of Blackberry, mocha, and oak. Mid palate has velvety but soft tannins with just a touch of dryness. Finish has licorice, more oak, and fig notes on a dark, woody sweet and pleasant finish.
