This has evolved nicely. I remember a more acidic wine from previous bottles, but that has changed into a nicely balanced though not overly complex wine. Nice.

2007 vintage

Ruby on the eye. Juicy red fruit on the nose. This wine is rather complex on the palate. It cries out for meat as a pairing. Some tannins with a nice, long finish.

Dense, firm, dry, spicy acidity, juicy. Lacking some character, but still quite a way to develop ahead.

Deep red in color with moderate amount of sediment. The nose was pretty muted, but that was probably Spring hay fever affecting me as opposed to the wine. Red fruit jumps out with silky smooth tannins and balanced acidity. There wasn't a big finish or a lot of nuance, but that may just have been my allergies. A very nice wine with chicken cacciatore. Nice value at 20.00.

still not at its peak, give it another 2-3 years in the cellar, a lot of substance for a Sangiovese wine and a nice acidity, but it misses the fruit to keep it interestering and exciting, not the best P/Q wine

Quite a fruit forward Brunello, with ripe cherry, red berries, hints black fruit, earth and some old leather. Quite round and inviting on the palate, which shows good integration of the fleshy fruit, soft acids and moderate tannins. Although missing the x factor (it is a little generic), this is very tasty juice and nicely balanced for the hot vintage. I can't see this improving and would recommend drinking this now before the fruit begins to fade.

Hints of plum, cherry and cedar. Not a bad wine, not the greatest either.

Drank on the deck at Harrys Seafood. Popped and poured into decanter and immediately served. Definitely improved as it opened. A little thin and acidic. it reminded me of chianti yet it had a little earthier and darker flavors and a classic brunello smell. There are better brunellos for the price.

Dusty dark cherry, huge extraction of fruits with earthy componts that ends up finishing as a fruits forward style with lots of charector.
