Excellent Bordeaux-style wine, great value for the money. Really opens up as you let it breathe.

One year past prime, a bit soft.

Great value wine. Lots of flavour and structure. Tiniest bit jammy. Needs a little more time to integrate.

Dark and inky colour, giving way to ruby hues at the edge. Upon opening there was a bouquet of tobacco, leather, with a bit of dark fruit. Taste had similar notes, mostly earthy with a hint of fruit. Ripe tannins, with a finish of sour cherries. Left to breathe for an hour before consumption, which let the fruit develop. Hints of earth remained on the nose, while juicy red fruit now dominated the palate (juxtaposition of the wine upon opening). …

New leather and cigar box on the nose, bright fruit, white pepper at first. As it opened up and mellowed we all picked up currant, mellow vanilla and bittersweet chocolate. Wonderful with tiny sweet/hot peppers stuffed with goat cheese.
