Plum, green pepper, spice, violet. Rich and full bodied. Nice weight and texture. Finish is a little lacking and a little heavy on the alcohol. Overall a nice value bottle.

Deep ruby color. Aromas of cassis and dark fruit with some oaky notes. Medium bodied on the palate, a pleasant weeknight wine.

Really good value, medium+ body, alcohol is present but never too much, concentrated with blue fruits and some pepper. Overall enjoyed and need more carmenere in my life

Deep ruby. Med plus aromas of green bell pepper, black pepper, rocket, lavender, coffee nibs, dark chocolate, dried black cherry, ripe red plum, strawberry jam, a bit of tobacco. Full body, high alcohol, dry, med velvety tannins, med(+) acidity, long finish. The wine is very ripe and high alcohol and plush, so it’s not really my kind of wine BUT this is really well made especially for the price. Decently complex and long finish, ripe yet balanced. Would pair nicely …

Not my favorite, but did improve after it was aerated and even more after the bottle was open for an hour or so. I will decant the next one before I have a taste.

Served in my wine course. Strawberry and ash in the nose. Medium bodied, not over-ripe. Initially a bit disjointed, but came together nicely after a few days later after being stored with vacuvin. Good QPR.

not sure if the "gifted" wine was stored improperly or regifted. Whaterever the case, the best that I can say is I hope this doesn't ruin my spaghetti sauce as it is being regated to cooking

Family Holidays; 7/28/2023-9/10/2023 (Alicante - España) : By the glass. Standard nose with notes of black berries, cassis or earthy even. In the mouth is more balsamic, fresh and subtly balanced. Short finish but tasty aftertaste. Merely fair. Por copas. Nariz estándar con notas de bayas negras, cassis o incluso terrosas. En boca es más balsámico, fresco y sutilmente balanceado. Final corto aunque de regusto sabroso. Meramente aceptable.

Beautiful smell of cooked green peppers. And a little bit Bordelaise on the palate. So if you like the smell of cooked green peppers, Get It.

Disappointing when first opened; mainly bland fruit; improved as it was open including second day. A few dusty CS notes but mainly red fruit; pleasant enough and well balanced. No sign of heavy handed oak: a plus. Can't complain at this price but previous vintages were significantly better. Maybe this vintage will improve with age?

Stiil a bit too young... but a Carménère of rare finesse and one where the typical black pepper notes do not at all overpower the fruit. Seems to have a lot of potential... let's see this in a few years!

Medium ruby hue. Aromas of bell pepper, black cherry, blackcurrant, and chocolate, with more dark fruit, oak, and pepper on the palate. Medium body, with medium-plus acidity and medium tannins.
