Klarröd. Söt frukt. Bra struktur och relativt framträdande alkohol. Vinet långt över min förväntan. Har sett flera beskrivningar att vinets livslängd skulle vara över. Det stämmer inte alls - jag skulle säga att det är på sin pik. Utmärkt.

Wine is past peak. Fruit diminished in the decanter in about 1 hour and started to sour a bit with the finish. If you have this in your cellar, give it 20 min in a decanter and then drink with 5 friends and kill the bottle immediately.

This kind of relatively inexpensive California Cabernet will never disappoint anybody. It is not a bold and tannic wine but a great cabernet nose yet easy to drink and nicely balanced. For the price and quality it's a complete no brainer. Very easy to drink and enjoyable.

Consumed as part of the First Annual 49ers Playoff $20 '07 Napa Cab Shoot-Out. Most expense of the contenders at $22 - consensus winner, with the most fruit. Initial tastes of green pepper/vegetal, though this was replaced with good dark fruit after a couple hours.

Tasted this in the tasting room and took a bottle to dinner this Spring. Great wine but still young and slightly tight. The tannin’s are pronounced but not bothersome. Deep fruit and flush with dark cherry. This is a medium to heavy wine that will mellow in a few years and emerge as a great Cab that will pair very well with steak or other high fat yummy dinners!

Tasted alongside the rutherford reserve This wine had more grip and more acid to complement the dark fruits I think in the end, when the acid and tannins mellow out, this wine will beat the rutherford; it is just a little rough around the edges right now revisit in 5 years
