Well… 12 years since the last one… not as impressive. Solid, but not memorable. Has held up… but probably on the down slope. Nose is surprisingly light.. a touch of cedar and forest floor. Palate is also less intense than expected … dark cherries and cedar/cigar box. Enjoyable still… but good to drink now/soon (let’s see what I think on day 2 😀)

- Garnet color. It's high in alcohol with a light body. Fleshy texture with a short finish - Based its prime.... Had to dump

Started well as a PnP -- fruit forward, nice body, kind of mellow and decent structure but not much complexity. Over the next few hours in the decanter, it tightened up quite a bit and was not much fun to drink. Drink up!

black cherries, plums, raspberry, cedar spice, dry forest floor, and savory herbs the 11's continue to surprise. silky mouthfeel, nice acidity, tannins are integrated. i really should've bought more 11s.

Wonderful mature Cab. No heat, probably lost a little fruit compared to when tasted and purchased 2013

Cassis, blackberry, cigar box, pencil lead, spice, tobacco. Medium-full body. Medium acidity. Medium-light, velvety tannins. Medium-long finish. Went well with steak. Drink or hold.

Loved at the vineyard. Very good 7 years later but probably past its prime. Nose was muted compared to my recollection.

2011 vintage much better than 2010. Dark fruit and a hint of cedar. Medium tannins

Decanted for 3 hours. Dry fruit at the front. Nice balance and complexity. Enjoyed with filet.

Classic Cali cab based wine with dark fruit leading the way with oak yielding a plush mouthfeel. Good tannins that integrate with some acid for a pleasurable drink on its own. Not as complex as I hoped but maybe with time.

Nice. Although not very layered or complex. Loads of fruit staved off by oak.

Fabulous dark fruit nose. Great blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot, Cab Franc, and Malbec. On the palate, a very pleasurable mix of blackberry and cherry with a nice long, smooth finish. Very food friendly, but also good just to sip without food. Loved it!

Great nose with dark cherry aromas. Tasting notes are subtle tannins with a great Bordeaux blend. There are subtle flavors of green flavors with great long lasting finish. Will continue to mature with age but 07 was a great year.

Excellent Bordeux blend - rich smooth, tannins alaready soft. Earthy, nose and flavor on the mid-palate. Nuances of tobacco, leather and coccoa. Rich mouth feel. In all aspects - feels like an indulgence. (Glad I was tasting a freinds bottle and still have mine in the cellar!)

I loved this wine at the winery but even more when I opened it at home. Drank it with friends & everyone loved it. It's bold, flavorful & has silky smooth finish. 92 pts from Wine Advocate but I think it's better than that. I bough another bottle & a 1.5ml, the bottle's really pretty too!

this was a Cab drinkers Cab. Big and bold, with firm tannins, dark brooding fruit and a touch of dark chocolate and cigar box.
