Smooth with dark fruits. Nice balance. Very old world for a NW blend.

This is still drinking very well. Great blended wine--very complex taste structure. Good dark fruit flavor. The Syrah is very bold. Highly recommend.

Drank at Super Bowl party along side 2007 Martin Ray Cab and 2004 St Supery Elu, both really good wines, but this was still the star of the night. Deep, full rich color and a wonderfully expressive nose of fruit and meatiness. Great flavor at every step. Powerful approach that your mind says will have to diminish as it reaches mid-palate, but just never does. Despite the intensity, there is a smoothness that permeates the entire experience. You also wait …

Love the smoothness and how well integrated . Medium to full body. The tannins give a great mouthfeel without being overbearing. Beautiful blue fruit with a lengthy finish. Second night was even better. It had filled out in every aspect. Have to bump this up one more point.

Decant for 3 hours. Great bouquet of flower and fruit. So smooth and well integrated. Taste of black fruit and even a little chocolate. Long finish. As good as always.

Still drinking well. Dark and dense. Loaded with Columbia Valley-style blue fruit. Consistent fruit from front to back, long finish.

Deep purple in color. Strong aroma of black fruit and glycerin.. Very smooth and full body feel in mouth. Great balance of fruit, acid and tannins. Long finish that lasts for a minute or longer. What a great wine. Can't wait for the 2006 vintage to come out this summer.

I have not had it in over a year and have one bottle left. Would love to have more but producers never respond to requests. Wonderul wine that is full bodied, jammy, excellent mid palate and finish. They also make the best pinot I have ever had and I am not a fan of pinot.

Whoa, this one ain't right. The funny part is the heat damaged bottle was delicious; this one had excellent provenance from shipping to storage. Nose of band aid, barnyard and smoke. Bad Brett! The palate is more bizarre with out of whack acidity up front, then a saline and bitter flavor. The finish induces a cringe. Hot. Clearly has some microbial spoilage. But given the known good provenance, the flaw is a wine flaw, not a bottle flaw. Gotta ding …

Purple, will have sediment since it is unfiltered. This is a dense, ripe wine. Blueberries, blackberries, red apple skins, cookie spices, long jammy finish.

Bottle was heat damaged in transit (cork stained and pushed up), but this is still amazingly good stuff. Creamy, rich mouth feel with acidic and tannic structure. Nose of blueberry, leather, bacon and vanilla. Oak influence is present, but enhances instead of dominating wine. Top notch stuff, crowd pleasing yet well-structured. Delicious.
