Lone Madrone Zinfandel Zin Of Steel Paso Robles

Very flat and thin. Not as I remember.

Seeing more and more reds fermented and aged in steel. Best served chilled I find this exhibits an almost reverse effect on drinking compared to other reds. The wine bursts on the tongue with acidity with a hint of spice and then eases out with flavors of strawberry.

Not your typical CA zin. Light on the nose. High acidity creates a very fresh clean feel to this wine but it's fairly simple. Flavor profile more like an Italian primitivo but in modern style. Finish was also a little light. A refreshing medium bodied wine.
