At last... more than a year passed from 1st bottle... it now shows what it is. Have couple of more... wish I had many many more 👏🍷👏 Nice mostly cloudy bright ruby red color with a lot of purple 🍷 Full to medium body. Medium plus acidity. Well noticeable tanines. Bought it near moms place in Israel. This is part of domaine du castel (their old property run by the son I think). Nose was a bit muted but flavors and complexity really shines. Peppery, dark fruit. Alcohol content seemed light and well balanced (sometimes Rhône blends are a bit hot for me). Really good wine. Update: day 2 after being corked and on counter overnight I didn’t like it nearly as much.
