Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. A blend of 65% Corvina and 35% Rondinella. Pale ruby/garnet, this is showing some age. Clean, med intensity nose with sour cherry, dried cranberry and a candied fruit roll-up note. No oak. Dry, with med + acidity, med tannins and med alcohol (12.5%). Medium purple red, medium transparent and medium consistent. At nose not very intense and complex, but fine. Young wine notes, mainly fruity (chewy cherries).
