15.5% abv. Received as an Xmas gift from my brother who won this at a charity event. Drank this bottle after a bottle of the 2022 Band of Vintners Napa CS, which outclassed this in pretty much every way possible. I was actually expecting more of a "fruit bomb" kind of Cab with this bottle, but was a little surprised to find this to have more red-fruit character than dark and plummy. Still, there was plenty of Cab fruit to …

Good concentration, balance, forward, still a little grippy until decanted at least an hour. Good steak wine, still drinking well if well cellared

Decanted for over an hour. Still drinking well. Glad to share with 4th of July guests. No complaint, no outstanding comments.

Classic Justin offering. Solid new world, fruit-forward, dark jam smear with smooth menthol and dusting tannins. A bit of heat on the nose that continues onto the palate and finish. Probably could do with more than an hour decant. Chewy finish concludes an overall good mouth-feel. I thought the ten-year mark would be sufficient- probably right, but would like sip again in another three to five. May always have a soft spot for this producer, will miss this one, it …

Still hanging in there nice. Black fruit, a bit of brick color on the edge. Solid body, tannins have smoothed out. Good cab.

These Reserve Cabs are my favorite bottling from Justin and this did not disappoint. This bottle still had the big black fruit on the nose and palate. The tannins were silky smooth and the wine was drinking great from start to finish. Sadly, my last bottle of this vintage.

Rich and deep flavors of black fruits and licorice on the palate. The nose was a little muted but the mouth was beautiful and lush.

THe wine retains its zing and acidity, but is sadly past its prime. The Justin web site lists a short drinking window for this wine, and tasting reveals the reason. The Cabernet taste profile is missing. The wonderful flavors that made the wine a good purchase have diminished; the floral aspects are gone.

Not decanted. Drinking really well right now. Tight upon opening but really opened up after about a 1/2 hour. Nice rich Cabernet flavors and aromas. There was a good amount of sediment in the bottle at the end. Probably will hold up nicely for another few years.

Young wine, very tannic so fruit is hidden. Will approach again in two years. Should cellar for many years.

After an hour decant started to come together. Very good balance and structure with the normal Cab fruit.

I just love this wine. Pricey and I'm certain that experts will tell me that there are better wines for the money. Couldn't help myself, I find Justin wines just yummy.
