Taken with us on vacation - Cork crumbled. Wine performed beautifully after 15 minutes. Tannins well resolved. Still has some fruit left. This is ready to go. Drink

Drank this well past its prime in 3/26, but it was still quite lovely with nice complexity

Not much improvement since my previous bottles (21-22). Lots of bell pepper and dark fruit. Still a lot of more life ahead...One bottle on my cellar left to be opened in 3 years at least.

Drinking beautifully now. Superbly integrated with a smooth, satisfying finish. Warm, earthy fruit and damp earth tones. Enjoyed stand alone and with chicken enchiladas.

Decanted 2 hours - good, much more restrained than the 2007 or the 2012. For my preference, I'll probably let my next bottle sit for 5 more years.

2010 vintage

Spectacular, a very special wine - decanted 1 hour, but improved even more after 2 hours. about 1/2 teaspoon of sediment. Dark fruits still prominent. Cassis, raspberry. Tannins integrated. Slight browning on the rim. Bottom line - beautiful wine that has many more years ahead - at least 7-10 years. Drink or Hold.

2007 vintage

Decanted for one hour. Nose of violet, black raspberry, current, mocha, anise and spice. Ripe black raspberry, current, mocha, black licorice, spice and crushed rock. Very long finish. Full bodied. Served with filet béarnaise.

2014 vintage

At peak, at least in terms of its components continuing to harmonize in a synchronized outpouring of freshness, fruit flavor and expansion, and focus. It has become a bit of a one hit wonder, but the song itself is one worth remembering. Some earth elements add interest, but I’m not sure whatever tertiary notes that might follow will come in time before the freshness and spine start to wane. Drink now.

2 hour decant — this was an excellent wine and no doubt, a TRB wine. But it was a bit on the lighter side. Not much in terms of tertiary notes, and I’m not sure it has the structure to last that long. Nonetheless, it was truly enjoyable and I wouldn’t hesitate purchasing more. Drink

So opulent, and still so much to offer. Low acid, mellow tannin that is plush and lovely. Dried fruit and a bit of spice. Incredible.

Decanted for one hour. Nose of black cherry, currant, cedar, chocolate, spice and anise. Black fruit, chocolate, anise, spice and crushed rock on the palate. Long, dry finish. Medium-to-full body. Drinking beautifully. Served with reverse seared strip steak and black truffle butter.

Wine was fantastic. I am so glad that held this wine for so long. I have one more bottle. Will wait one year to drink last bottle.

Pnp. After about 2 hours developed viscosity. Dense flavors of chocolate and coffee. Very modern Napa style. A little flabby so I don't think it has a long life ahead but if you give it a little air it's very pleasurable right now.

It's been a few weeks so don't remember the deets, which goes to say it didn't wow me much. But I do remember it had a nice floral perfume and some nice iron and singed alder notes on the palate. Maybe a bit stewed fruit. I put this in a decanter and gave it a few hours prior to consumption.

Decanted for one hour. Aromas of blackberry, currant, mocha and spice. Blackberry cream liquor, currant, spice, anise and ripe tannins on the palate. Very long finish. Full bodied. Served with grilled filet mignon and romesco sauce.

Opened and decanted for 30 minutes and drank for 2 hours Complex but well integrated nose of cedar, fresh berries, and spices. Beautifully weighted on the palate, round, smooth tannins, elegant and with great structure, floral and fruity in such a refreshing way. Flowers garden in the aftertaste. #93 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2017. I was 1st introduced and took a liking to this wine in 2017 at the Wine Spectator's Wine Experience Critics Choice Grand Tasting in New York City. Wow. Fragrant. Lovely floral aromas. Soft smooth tannins with integrated acidity. Lovely finish. Dark black fruits, graphite and iron. Round finish. Amazing wine. Long and memorable.

2009 vintage

Polished fruits of the forest. Excellent balance of of fruit and structure. Vibrant freshness and tannin tingle the palate. Bright and elegant rather than weighty. Long with hints of complexity. Still very young and a little raw. Leave for another 5 years, then should last for the following 10 to 15 years. Lacks the depth required for a higher score- perhaps this will develop with time but I doubt it.

Bright floral flavors with a solid hint eucalyptus. Strawberry and cherry flavors. Nicely integrated tannins. Medium finish. Nicely done.

2008 vintage

Bonus pour from our Revana Tasting. Cab Franc (5%) and Petit Verdot (2%) really show up in the finish. Cellar worthy for several more years.

Nice nose, very dark - more mineral, tobacco, coffee than dark fruit. Lots of mouthful tannins, full body, and a very very long finish. Really opened up after 1 1/2 hours

93-94 first night. A bit jammy and overripe. 95+ night 2. Everything came together in balance.

This is in a perfect spot right now. The tannins are still present indicating further life on the shelf. I'd say drink now to 2024...

Had this wine for my son’s wedding. A beautiful presentation of the region. Needs plenty of time to open. Love the wine and find that it is drinking well now.
