Such a great Super Tuscan, from a lessor known Winery from Bolgheri: a blend of 65 % CS and 35 % CF. Bell pepper, plum, cherry, tobacco, blackberry, leather, medium plus body with a great long finish.

Monthly Tasting Group HWS; Bolgheri (By BS) : Beautiful intense bouquet with sweet spices, dark berries and ripe cherries. On the palate a slightly sweet start, beautiful dark fruit and acidity, some spiciness and licorice. Beautiful wine in its early maturity stage. 91 - 92

Full body and plenty of tannins. If you choose open now be sure to decant - ideally for an hour or so. Had with Carbonara with pork belly and lots of black pepper - held up wonderfully - but please give time to open up! Would also wait a couple of more years to enjoy.

Gang of 5 in Covid19 times; No theme. We each brought some wines. (@ RW) : Beautiful bouquet with a lot of good and fresh fruits as well as sweet spices and vanilla. On the palate red and dark berries herbs and spices, good acidity and still slightly sticky tannin. Will probably be better in 2025 – 2027+

The wine needed two days in the uncorked bottle to open up completely. A lot of sweet spices in the bouquet and on the palate. A lot of good acidity and round tannin. Lovely wine. 91+
