Nose of earth, cherry and wood. Fairly simple. The palate lacked fruit, showed far too much oak and finished a touch hot. Not bad for the price but nothing special. Drink now through 2014.

The nose is very thin and simple, mostly nondescript red fruit. The palate is also simple and a little flat. That is until it completely disappears on the finish... At least it doesn't have any overbearing oak.
