This tuscan was purchased on a whim when nothing else seemed worth it. I am sorry I spent this money. Bland on the nose and in the glass. no spice or cherry I would expect from the sangiovese or the syrah. Not something I would drink by it self as it has not distinquishing features. There is a bit of bad cigar on the palate. Medium acidity and higher tannins provided some structure to this 12.5% alcohol wine. There did …

Not a complex wine but the Sangiovese gives a pert acidity. That, with medium tannins, make this an acceptable food wine. Finish lingers, but isn't very exciting.
