This tuscan was purchased on a whim when nothing else seemed worth it. I am sorry I spent this money. Bland on the nose and in the glass. no spice or cherry I would expect from the sangiovese or the syrah. Not something I would drink by it self as it has not distinquishing features. Exactly what I expected for the price... nice with food (pasta), but not much to talk about otherwise.

Unexceptional tuscan. Black fruit and spicy notes. Harsh on the finish. Not a bad basic table wine, but that's about it.

Not a complex wine but the Sangiovese gives a pert acidity. That, with medium tannins, make this an acceptable food wine. Finish lingers, but isn't very exciting.
