Consistent with prior bottles. Lovely earthy red fruit flavors, notes of cranberry and cherry. Very good.

Super interesting, very deep flavor profile. Lots of dark cherries. Definitely a tad bit polarizing.

Bottle 4/6. There seems to be some bottle variation — this one was more acidic and fresh than the last few which were more dense and vinous.

Unique Pinot Meunier aroma with fresh red fruit and honeysuckle notes. Earthy, yeasty red fruit, raspberry, cranberry, green strawberry caps, and a sweet / over-ripe berry finish. Lots of minerality. Honestly, this is a red wine. Maybe this bottle is a little off, but it’s not as good as some of the others I’ve had recently.

Really beautiful fruity aroma, very complex, with notes of earthy red fruit, cherry, cranberry, apple and some Pinot Meunier funk lurking in the background. Perfumed. Ripe apple flavor, with notes of apple core, lemon zest, and a nice apple finish. Lots of minerality. Well balanced and interesting. Vinous — almost like a still red wine. Yummy!

Stunning Champagne. 100% meunier with a gorgeous berry/floral nose, and the finest mousse. Rich, with just the right amount of sweetness, brimming with strawberry, raspberry and cherry fruit, and a mineral/chalky finish. One of the best champagnes I've had in recent memory.

Delicious and very unique! Extraordinary deep red color. Complex earthy red fruit aroma — unique and enticing. Massive red fruit flavor, notes of dried cherries, cranberries, and red currant with and a yeasty red fruit finish. Perfect balance and poise. A bit vinous — almost more of a red wine than a Champagne. I can’t wait to see how this evolves. Drink or hold.

Dark pink-ruby color. Fragrant nose of strawberry and rose petals. Steely dry finish with a lively mousse. Delicious stuff, quite complex and wine-like.

Opened by Mark. This is the first 100% Meunier Rose made as a Special Club. Made from 25 year old vines. Disgorged Feb. 2016. Given a 72 hour cold maceration which gave this a very deep pinkish red color. 2g/ltr dosage. Delicious. I could have drank this all night. Floral nose. The single best Special Club I've ever tasted, and up there in the rose category as well. No notes, but this one is stuck in my head as a benchmark. Not cheap but really damn tasty.
