Decanted for around an hour. Nicely orange meniscus. Ready to drink. Nice berry notes. Missing my favorite cassis, but had nicely softened tannins. Drank it with snacks of English Blue Stilton, Cajun Boudin and, our favorite taste bud wake up, Italian Hot Cherry Peppers in Olive Oil stuffed with Proscuito and Parmeasean. The vessel made a difference too. In a Reidel Vinum Bordeaux, the tannins were more prominent while in an Eisch Bordeaux, they were much smoother. The rating is …

Much better than tasting 10 months ago. More balanced and mellowed tannins.

This wine is "solid" and provides a good mix of flavors on the palate. For the price it offers some complexity and age ability.

Very velvety smooth tannins still present but melting well. Wine was huge hit especially considering the price payed. Should have bought more will easily hold and develop over the next few years already nice flavors of berries hint of cacao and some leather.

I really enjoy Marlstone. It drinks like a much more expensive Cab. This is a blend that is expressive and rewarding. Tannins were a bit tight in this bottle.
