This is a wine for those who like muscular , big and ripe, well extracted . Rich and ripe, quite a bit of oak but what dominates is the powerful fruit. Modern Rioja of course here, and much like many of its type around the world ( like bolgheri) this is well made to the point of buying dull and one dimensional. Lacks any excitement and becomes heavy after the first glass. Not our style of wine . 89-90

Wow. Berry, cedar, and a little bit of forest floor on the nose. Deep extracted fruit, good acid and a looong finish. A lovely wine-I wish I had a case of this.
