Garnacha Tintorera, Mencía, Mouraton (70%), Doña Branca, Godello, Palomino (30%) of a vineyard of 0.4 hectares with a marked inclination, in O Ruxe, municipality of O Barco de Valdeorras, of a sandy limestone soil. They are fermented and bred for 5-6 months in French oak barrels. It is not filtered or clarified. Fresh, floral, balsamic fruit, earthy, direct, vertical, with tension, greedy and easy to drink!!! Funny!!!

P&p, seems pretty ready to go right away. Fresh pomegranate-like fruit, with lots of acidity and youthful energy, and stony/mineral, saline and earthy notes. Touch of barnyard funk, presumably Brett but it's moderate and not unpleasant. Good concentration and substance while staying quite fresh and drinkable. Fun, tasty wine, and definitely scratches the Mencia itch.
