Deep colour; muted nose; rounded smooth dark fruits, simplistic; decent enough. Drink soon.

Enjoyable plum and dark cherry flavors with a slight smokiness on the finish.

Added the Jackals River name in 2018. Medium nose shows strawberry, orange peel, dried spice, raspberry, rose petal. Palate gives more body than you would think from nose, still red fruits, medium body, nice acidity, dried herbs, spice, nice layers in a pretty package. More food friendly than most Pinotage I'd say.
