By any measure this is an oaky wine. Fresh sweet wood aromas dominate the nose but the palate shows more restraint. Some juicy red fruits early but the wood kicks in again mid-palate with spice and dryness. Sandlewood-like late. Quite seriousness but needs time for the wood to settle.
