Served at Blair’s Cove near Bantry, county Cork, which unfortunately has one of those wine lists where the red wines are all somewhat too young, hence no rating for this decent but currently slightly raw wine. White wine tomorrow!

Nose: Dark cherry and earthy barrel spice. Palate: More dark cherry, dirt, weighty and warming mouthfeel is very nice, silky tannins.
