Tesco Finest Chenin Blanc

New appellation / region for me. Generic white with some modern overtones. Ripe despite its 12.5%. Mostly a tropical fruit story but some mild mineral stones underpin the palate. The ripeness of the fruit does make the wine lose some focus so big chill near mandatory.

PnP. light silvery yellow. Lanolin melon rind peach and honeysuckle on the nose. Slight viscosity on the palate with peach lime pith melon rind and a touch of beeswax. A touch weak in the middle and on the finish.
