NobleRottersSydney - Cabernet & blends (Fix, St James, Sydney) : {cork, 13.5%} [Geoffrey] The old diamond label wine – a blast from the past! Although, perhaps not so much a blast as a moan. Deep purple/red, opaque. Full body, flavorful, mild tannins for the age, moderate heat despite typical alcohol level, average length , pleasant finish. Fruity, no significant bitterness, crisp. Plum, cherry flavors. Very flavorful, great value. Better next year.

For the price, loved it. Fruity, aromatic nose. Lively, fruity flavor. Tasted well balanced and full. Everyone who had it tonight liked it.

decanted for about an hour. very deep purple with lots of body. aromas of coffee and chocolate and mint. very different beef stew flavors on the tongue. I tasted pot roast and carrots. at first is was overpowering and a little unpleasant, but it has mellowed and become quite appealing with the fruit finally expressing themselves. I'll try the rest tomorrow nite and see how it changes. 83 pts 2nd night. very tasty. the strong beef stew flavors mellowed more …

Dark garnet color. Full, smooth flavor. Long finish, slightly hot. Not complicated but very pleasant.
