Bodega Garzón Petit Verdot Single Vineyard

Random wines tasting (Oinoscent) : Strange but interesting nose, floral notes, fruit but also herbal notes in the back, dense, showing depth. Palate shows med to full body, warmth (14.50%), ripe to overrripe black and then red fruit, strong oak profile, tense, dry finish with some herbal notes in the back, med finish.

I have always been drawn to the Southern saying “so good it makes you wanna slap your mama.” Though I would never slap my mother, nor condone anyone else doing it, I appreciate the feeling the phrase invokes. When something comes out of nowhere and hits you right in the face. Stuns and surprises you. This wine does that in all the right ways. Elegant and approachable.

PnD. Super purple. Herbal and floral with red black and blue fruits touch of tobacco. Nice grip. Love it.
