Decanted 3hrs. Wine pours a deep purple in the glass. Intense, developing aromas of blackberry, cassis, leather, soy, lavender, lilac, game, ume boshi, liquorice, cured meat, smoke, vanilla, and oak- very polished. Int he mouth, the wine is dry, high acid, med + tannin, med +/full body, intense in the mouth with a long finish. Overall, very good/outstanding with time. Can drink now with a good decant, but this will evolve in cellars for 10+ years. Very young still.

Pronounced nose intensity with notes of vanilla, chocolate, spices, black fruits. High tannin and medium+ acidity. Long finish.

One of the best wines of a recent en primeur tasting. Wow nose and big well balanced body with huge length of finish. Worth it if you're shopping in this price range. £120 PB ib. Personally I've gone for the Le Clos for more charm and earlier drinking.
