Kendrick’s Wine Club (67 Pall Mall, London) : Served blind a was not an easy one to place. Definitely to us felt like a well ripened Syrah with its spicy feel across and an its tannic structure. Felt in a way like a soft SQN and we argued for it as it did have the feel of it or at least tried to become it albeit lacking the SQN muscle. Definitely a rich wine and definitely made in the California …

I think the bottle we opened was a bit off - not on the nose but on the finish. I should have dumped the remainder of bottle as honey bunny did not enjoy it

Could use another six months in the bottle and I believe the raisiny taste at the beginning will completely wear off. Super dark color and a lasting finish
