Double blind tasting Pale lemon with gold reflections Aromatics medium +. Minerals, lemon, yellow crisp apple, cream, some matchstick, but no new oak Palate has a medium body. Acid medium +. No phenolics. Alcohol medium. Crushed rock, gravel. Matchstick. Yellow pear. Lime. Cream. Finish has a medium + length. Balanced Overall, this seemed like a beautiful old world Chardonnay to me. Les notes beurrées sont bien marquées, le vin est généreusement élevé, et assez riche, mais la belle matière est heureusement équilibrée par une grosse veine acide en finale. C'est clairement un vin de gastronomie, ambitieux et très bien fait, qui je pense aurait été au top dans cinq ans. 90 aujourd'hui, mais un potentiel de 92 sûrement. Cela confirme en tous cas la qualité des 2014 en bourgogne blanc.

Had a bottle Of this at The Wild Fig Restaurant in Aspen. It was very aromatic and had a fair amount of oak on the finish, but it was in check. Lovely floral notes of passion fruit and vanilla.

Punches well above its weight. Reminds me of dauvissat. Theres a purity here I've never found in the Macon. Mineral, Clean, and vibrant. Still no replacement for Grand Cru Burgundy but I think this is as good as you get in the Macon.

Wow, for the money, this is great Chardonnay. Pop 'n poured. A slight smokiness on the nose followed by a round, full palate that includes some oak, minerality, orange peal, chalk, vanilla and a medium finish.
