Quite dark blood/ruby. Rim is just a touch paler and neither pink nor bricking - "a point". Nose is ripe and fatty - even a touch jammy, with ripe cherry fruit and a hint of chestnuts. Quite heavy but nicely integrated oak. Mouth entry is clean, ripe and creamy. Good acidity and nice weight of fruit on the mid-palate.
