Even better on my second day after sitting in a Coravin bottle for a few days. The nose was still expressive with more savory smoked meat aRomas. But the body now had rounder dark fruits with more resolved tannins and a longer finish. Lovely.

This wine exhibited all of the features I love about the nose of a southern Rhone wine. Beautiful garrigue and mushrooms and other savory notes wrapped around red fruits. The body was lighter with most of the fruit gone but the acid and partially resolved tannins were well balanced with a medium finish. With more fruit I would have given this 95 points or more. Color: Medium ruby Nose: Very pleasant. BlackBerry, tobacco and wood. Herbal notes of sage and eucalyptus. Palate: Really nicely balanced - rounded soft tannins and pleasant acidity. Elegant but not subdued, definitely some presence. Long finish. Its IGP, not AOC, but is really very good. Well done.

Beautiful extracted wine, lots of body and fruit. No notes taken but thought the wine was drinking well The wine looks inky colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blueberry, black currant (cassis), cherry, black pepper and meaty. It tastes like black currant (cassis), blueberry, plum, coffee, phenolic and cedar. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

Consistent with my last note.Fresh cut flowers & ripe raspberries on the nose. Savory palate, red berries and something like barbecue sauce, really interesting. Not big or tannic, but silky and meaty. Finishes a little short though. Lovely wine.

Took about 2 hours to open up. Has the elegance and floral characteristics of cote-rotie, but also the savory and meaty notes of hermitage, without the power or structure. Tame, with some depth. Nice wine.
