Celler de Cérvoles Costers del Segre Colors

Tasted this blind and guessed it as Grenache blend but didn’t spot it was Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot in the blend. The nose is funky with barnyard with red fruit and spicy notes. The palate has heat, warmth and plenty of pepper and chilli spice and bright red, sappy fruit on the finish. Good intensity of flavour but not my style, the heat from the alcohol and the spice is a little overwhelming.
