Glass: Zalto Bordeaux Popped and poured, drunk over several days. Clear, medium golden-amber color. 1998 was a Botrytis year for the Wachau and this wine is no exception. Clean, very botrytis driven nose with honey and spices. On the palate perhaps not legally dry, perhaps its just the high 14,5% abv. Botrytis all over, white pepper, lots of stone fruit. Intense, creamy, nice tension, long. Certainly a bit past peak, but still very joyful. 89-90
