Didn't have a high expectation of this one, even though it was from a stellar vintage, but it surprised in a few ways and was really good - Dark with ambering rim, medium bodied with a nose of black fruit, plum, earth, cigar box and vanilla, nice intensity even though fruit was beginning to fade, well integrated, structured, smooth/dry on the palate with medium length, nice surprise (88 Points).
