Deep, dark, opaque purple color. Smoky, peppery blackberries on the nose with a bit of licorice. Full body with solid, ripe tannins and good acidity. Loads of jammy, peppery, spicy blackberries coat the palate. A nice, fairly long finish filled with the same peppery berries. Not a lot of complexity but outstanding QPR at $14 that is drinking very nicely right now.

Very dark purple color, almost black. Fairly big nose with blackberries, blueberries, smoke, chocolate and wet earth. Full body with good acidity and ripe tannins. Mouthfilling crushed, spicy berries with dried herbs on the palate. Good length on the finish with the crushed berries and a bit of oak. Loads of pet flavor with no rough edges. Great deal at the price. Some additional cellar time may help integrate the bit of oak that pops up on the finish.

This wine is lush and jammy with fruit galore and a thick full finish for the money I would buy as any as I could get.

Exceptional wine, loved it and for the price it is fantastic. I noticed on the label that they only made 500 cases so I may not get to try it again. Very silky and tons of plum and berry flavors with a chocolate fruit finish, very nice Petite that I would highly recomend, had it with pork tenderloin.
