Purchased at Cadenhead - I love their bottlings and they are connected to Springbank. Beautiful darker whisky with sherry influence, slight citrus, orange, smoke and salt air

An earthy, peaty nose with citrus and toffee notes and a touch of oloroso, some spirit, too. On the palate, hints of coconut and vanilla, and very savory rather than smoky peat. Sophisticated and very beautiful.

There are few Scottish distilleries that can honestly speek of terroir in the same way as Springbank. It is the only distillery which malts 100% of its own barley, using traditional floor maltings.
