Nice balance of lemony Sauvignon Blanc from the Judge Vineyard (my favorite SB in California) and earthy Sémillon on the nose. The palate shows similarly, with nice salinity and crisp acidity. This is really hitting its stride and is worth opening now. Possibly my favorite vintage of this wine yet.

PnP. Nose provides lemon curd, spring onion, and briny seashells on the seashore. Mineral-driven palate has an unusual combo of both an acidic cut and a fleshy texture, with yellow apple, lemon candy and chamomile flavors. Salted lime and gentle pith on the short finish.

VAGENIUS nailed it. I have nothing to add.

The best Cuvée Karatas I have had. Great delineation, crisp finish and a complex Semillon character that often comes across as disappointing, simple waxy flavor. This has a great flavor.

30 minute decant. Aromas of ripe pear, golden apple, and lemon oil. Palate delivers a burst of grapefruit and other white fruits with a slightly buttery texture that quickly subsides into lemony acidity and white flowers. Tightens into chiseled granite, then a short, fleshy lemon and lime finale.

Flavors of citrus, lemon creme, golden apple, pear and some grassiness/green herbs. Creamy smooth texture. Delicious as usual. Big fan of the wine and label.

Very similar impression to zachb, though his note's a year older than mine. I think I preferred the Monte Rosso Semillon to this more in terms of complexity/depth.

Great stuff. Mild funk from the Sauv Blanc comes through pretty noticeably, but the flavor and body is balanced out well with the Semillon. Good on its own, fun to build a dinner around for pairing too.

Nice pear and citrus flavors softened by the barrel exposure with a creamy texture.

Really nice wine with lots of citrus notes and very clean taste profile. It's not a complex as some others like it. I think it will improve with time.

Gold yellow color, citrusy nose with apricot, flavor is a little buttery with roundness, goo acidity, and dryness, going well with moderate cheeses and crackers
