Deep golden. Open, mature nose: honeydew, pear, lime zest, dried hay, chamomile, acacia honey; faint petrol and dried orange peel underneath. Palate tighter than expected. Light-to-medium body, driven by firm, precise acidity. Citrus core (lime, orange) with marmalade, pineapple and a clean white-pepper edge. Texture is lean, tense, saline rather than broad. Ridiculous persistence. Finish just doesn’t let go — saline, citrus bitters, white pepper and mineral echo for well over a minute. Reads like a mature Riesling in structure, …
