although the wine is fading; it still was an enjoyable wine. showed some secondary notes. this bottle was in my temperature controlled wine vault since release. definitely drink now it you have any left. did not decant. it was WOTN, beating 2021 Ridge estate Cabernet, and 2022 N&N Post and Beam,

Last time I opened one was 2013. It has mellowed still has a lot of berry fruit and the high alcohol has mellowed wo killing the wine.

The high alcohol content has overpowered the fruit. Alcoholic, but still a bit of the fruit coming through. The wine looks Ruby colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Red Currant, Prune, and Petrol. It tastes like Petrol, and Alcohol/Hot. The body is Medium/Full. The wine has Oily texture. The wine finishes Medium.

Still showing quite nicely; dark color; spicy pepper flavors with fully body; did not seem to be losing any steam at all, but no reason to wait

Deeply colored, somewhat translucent. Good spicy Zin nose tending toward cloves with a hint of green leaf. Rich sweet Zin fruit, touch raisin. I thought this might be over the hill, but it is drinking quite nicely. $20.

Working my way through a few Turley zins I find these wines to be out of balance and hot. The berry flavors are there the complexity is not. Really not my style but not a terrible wine in any way.

Using Parker's scale, my girl & I rated it 84-85. I think its fading and am glad to have drank it. There was a nice candied raspberry taste and a little heat on the mid palate. I got it at the club price, so I gave it some extra value points.
