This is definitely unique, starting with the nose- plum and dark fruit but also a big dose of charcoal and spice. A bit of soil and brick dust. I, for one, will disagree with the Beaujolais comparison as this is substantially darker. All sorts of berries- blackerries, black currant, sour cherries, elderberries along with some plum. Medium-bodied; despite all of the dark descriptors and its depth, it is not a bruiser. The moderate alcohol keeps it in check along with …

Raisiny feel to the fruit. Something wrong here.

Pretty similar note. Dark berry fruit, sour cherry, baking spice, peppery spice, bitter almond, primary, juicy, good stuff.

Dark purple color, quite transparent. Plum, dark cherry, pepper, charcoal and some dry wood on the nose. Medium bodied with good acidity and tremendous lift. Flavor profile is one of dark fruit and cherries. I can totally agree with the Beaujolais comparison, drinkability is on an extreme high level here. While the mouthfeel is dry, it is also really fresh, precise and extremely well balanced. Not cheap, but definitely delivers for the price.

Sweet red and dark fruit on the nose. Slight bark-like wood notes, some baking spice, liquorice and florality. Quite fullbodied palate of fresh juicy fruit, slight tannic grip and refreshing acidity. Plums, cherries, dark grapes and tart red berry notes with some liquorice and blackpepper towards the mid-length finish. Fermented grape juice. Ripe and concentrated, but still refreshing. Nice.
