Giuseppe Cortese, Langhe, Chardonnay Scapulin

Tasted at Azienda Agricola Cortese Guiseppe at the top of the Rabajà vineyard. This wine is 100% Chardonnay from estate fruit grown on 0.8 hectares in the Trifolera zone with western exposure. It has been made for about a decade or so. Alcoholic fermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. It undergoes no malolactic fermentation, sees very low levels of SO2.
